Who is Lingrove?

Lingrove is the team behind ekoa. Our passion is creating ultra-sustainable, healthy, and high-performance materials for the built environment and automotive interiors. We design and manufacture exceptional products, right here in the USA, that are good for people and the planet.

What is ekoa?
Made of rapidly renewable flax and plant resins, ekoa is a high-performing, bio-based composite material that’s perfectly suited for gorgeous interiors and smart design. Certified Clean Air GOLD and Red List Free, ekoa is natural wall protection and beautification with no trade-offs. Strong, stunning, and sustainable, the veneer-like sheets of ekoa are a fit for even the most demanding projects, with impressive durability and impact resistance that make it suitable for walls, ceilings, millwork, product design, and automotive applications.
Where can I use ekoa?
ekoa shines in architecture and interior design, product design, and automotive. ekoa is ideal for walls, ceilings, tables, headboards, columns, and millwork. It’s not designed for flooring or outdoor use (yet!).

  • For A&D, our eco-veneers are perfect for wall protection, wall coverings, ceilings, and millwork.
  • In automotive and transportation, ekoa can replace wood veneer or even carbon fiber for interior applications using compression molding.
What sheet sizes are available?
ekoa comes in .032” (+/-.003”) thick sheets, 4’ wide, and lengths from 8’ to 12’ (to the nearest foot, shipped slightly oversized for trimming). Need something longer? Custom lengths are available—just ask!
What certifications does ekoa have?

ekoa is certified Clean Air GOLD, Declare Red List Free, Prop 65 compliant, PFAS free, and is a USDA Certified Biobased product. We are Buy America, Build America (BABA) certified, are on the mindful MATERIALS (mM) platform, we have a Health Product Declaration (HPD), and we’re working toward an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) as we grow and collect more manufacturing data.
