The design challenge

Chick-fil-A wanted its children’s play area to be fun, engaging, and full of energy—a space where kids could explore, imagine, and families could connect. The design needed to handle high activity while feeling warm, cohesive, and true to the brand’s playful personality.

Material solution

Ekoa in Essential was the perfect backdrop. Its light, natural-toned surface created a smooth, uniform canvas for bright, colorful murals and interactive elements. The flax-based, plant-derived material is tough enough to stand up to tiny hands, rough-and-tumble play, and everyday wear, while still keeping the walls looking fresh and inviting.
